How To Have A Great Day

Everyone has a bad day at some time in their life but in this blog post, I am going to give you some tips on How To Have A Great Day or maybe make your bad day a little bit easier and better.

The Day Before:

Make Your Lunch The Day Before

If you have work or school then this one is a great tip since you just have to grab your lunch in the morning instead of taking time and making it in the morning. You don’t have to rush yourself in the morning if your lunch is already made the day before. As you are cooking dinner just add some of the food in your lunchbox and then put it in the fridge so you can just grab it in the morning.

Pick Your Outfit The Night Before

This one is a great tip especially if you are indecisive like I am! Instead of using your morning and wasting time on what to wear that day just do it the day before. This is so much easier since you can just grab your clothes and change instantly instead of looking through your closet.


I am not a snooze person I wake up immediately when my alarm goes off but if you are a snooze person then this one might help you. If you have to wake up at 7:30 am then set your alarm for 7:10 am and 7:30 am, that way you’ll know that you have your two snooze pushes to get through.

Schedule Your Day

Plan out what you have to do throughout the day which will make everything easier since you won’t forget if you have any appointments that day.

Have A Routine

Make yourself a morning routine. Find out what works best for you and make it your own routine. If you don’t have any idea then here are some:

  • Make your bed 
  • Take a shower (unless you shower at the end of the day) 
  • Skincare 
  • Put on makeup 
  • Clothes 
  • Breakfast

On the day:

Don’t Look At Your Phone

I am still struggling with this one since it has become a habit of mine to check my phone every morning. But I think it’s important to try to wake up without checking your phone and do your little morning routine and ones you eat breakfast you can check your phone.

Read The Bible And Pray

Of course, this one is for the Christians out there and for people who believe in God. I think it’s important to wake up and thank God for another day of life and pray that the day will be good.

Drink An Entire Glass Of Water

I love to do this every morning. Drink a cold glass of water in the morning and it’ll just wake you up instantly. It’s also important to drink water since you haven’t had water for 8-9 hours so your body needs to rehydrate.

Make A To-Do List

Look at your schedule for the day and make it into a to-do list. This is a great way to stay productive and organized since you can check off everything that you’ve done throughout the day.

Tidy Your Space

This can take literally just 10-20 minutes. Clean your dishes if you didn’t do it the night before, fluff your pillows, clean up the countertops, etc. It is always amazing to come home to a tidy and clean space after work, but if you work home then I promise you that you’ll be so much productive if your space is neat and clean!
