How To Have A Self-Care Day At Home

So it’s time to pamper yourself. It’s always important to have at least one day every week to just relax and treat yourself instead of doing work and stressing about all that kind of stuff. In this blog post, I am going to give you some tips on How To Have A Self-Care Day At Home. 

Clean Your Room

First of all, you need to clean your room if it’s not clean already. You will feel more relaxed if your room is clean instead of seeing a big pile of clothes on the floor or if the bed is not made or something. Start by cleaning your room and then you can start your self-care routine.

Drink A Cup Of Tea/Water

Drink a cup of tea or if you don’t like to drink tea you can drink water or something warm that you prefer to set the mood.

Facemask/hair mask/lip mask

Put on a facemask, hair mask or a lip mask OR do all 3, why not?! It’s your self-care routine so you can do whatever you want. Put on your favorite Netflix series while your masks are doing its job.

Take A Nice Bath

Take a long and nice shower. Use your bathtub if you have one since you can throw some of your favorite bath bombs inside. Put on some relaxing music and just relax. After you’ve taken a nice bath put on some oil on your legs and your body as a moisturizer, you can use coconut oil which will make your skin so soft and smooth! Coconut oil for the WIN!

Skincare

After you’ve showered it’s time to do your skincare! Take your time to do your skincare. Did you invest in a new skincare product? Try it out today! Put on a nice face oil and use your face roller (if you have one) to roll it all out and massage your face, you can also do it with your fingers of course. Just make your skincare routine tonight different from your normal skincare routine.

Nailpolish

It’s time to make your nails pretty! Put on your favorite nail polish, or try to spice it up by doing some kind of nail art if you want to. You can even try on a different color tonight.

Read A Book

And of course, you should read a book on your self-care night. Get lost in another world by reading a book. I will suggest reading a book even though you are not a book lover, just try it out tonight and see if it changes your opinion on books.

Journal

I know that a lot of people love to journal, so why not try it out if you don’t already journal. You can try out by writing what you have on your mind right now and what you are thankful for.

Food

Of course, you need to eat an amazing meal on your self-care night. Order food at your favorite restaurant and get it delivered straight to your home so that you can enjoy it while watching some Netflix.

Plan Out Your Week

If you are doing your self-care routine on a Sunday, you can end the night off by planning out your week. I am a huge planner person, and I love to write down what I have to do for the week physically on my calendar but also on my google calendar since I won’t be bringing my calendar outside, so whenever I need to see what’s on my calendar I can just take out my phone and look on my calendar there.
